Day 7 evening: the family arrived My daughters arrived with Minne at 8:00. I had a huge feast of the different types of focaccia bread, vegetable tarts, etc. that I had bought at the market. It was feast everyone enjoyed! Especially because everyone was so tired from their journey.

I decided I would do the shopping for flowers myself. What a lark! What a plunge! Today I have to get a nice dinner ready for Minne and the girls when they arrive at 7 or 8 pm tonight. They think it is late but it is actually standard dinner

Days 3 & 4: I Castelli Romani I left Rome very early on day 3 to escape the heat. It was already creep[ing upwards to 80 degrees and I could not bear the thought of dragging two heavy bags and my back up down and up and back down

Roma, 9 lujlio 2021 The morning started with the colosseum, a special tour that would take us to the floor of the colosseum. I walked from the house to the colosseum and it was a wonderful pleasant walk and saw many familiar landmarks and sundry roman ruins along the way.
